This policy describes the current launch site. It will be updated before any new analytics, advertising, form, account, or data-collection feature is activated.
Current data collection
WARDOGS Field Guide does not provide user accounts, comments, a newsletter, or a contact form. No advertising or analytics vendor is active at launch, and the application does not intentionally set first-party marketing or analytics cookies. The site is delivered by its hosting and network providers, which may process ordinary technical request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals to deliver, protect, and operate the service under their own terms.

Guides link to official third-party destinations including Steam, the Steam Community, Team17, BULKHEAD, and the WARDOGS community signup. Following an external link leaves this site. Those services may collect account, device, cookie, or usage information according to their own privacy notices. WARDOGS Field Guide does not control their forms, sign-in requirements, invitation process, embedded content, retention periods, or security practices.
Future analytics or advertising
The site structure is prepared for a future disclosure if privacy-conscious analytics or advertising is added, but readiness is not activation. This policy will be revised before activation to identify the vendor, purpose, categories of data, cookie or storage behavior, legal basis where applicable, retention, user controls, and relevant opt-out choices. A consent mechanism will be added where required. The policy will not claim a vendor is active until the production site actually uses it.
Security, retention, and changes
The application is a static informational site with no launch database for visitor profiles or submissions. Hosting-level logs and security records are controlled by the infrastructure provider’s retention and operational policies. The site uses HTTPS in production and restricts unnecessary browser capabilities through response headers. Material policy changes will be dated on this page. Because no direct message channel is active at launch, visitors should not attempt to send sensitive information to guessed addresses at this domain.
