Which Steam entry should I use now?

Use the main WARDOGS store page, app 1867240. A historical playtest installation and a purchased Early Access license are different access contexts. If the released game does not appear in your library, check the Steam account and purchase record before repairing the PC.

A disabled test client does not by itself show a game-wide outage. See server status for dated official notices and troubleshooting for installation and login checks.

What happened to the old signup advice?

The developer FAQ still documents FirstLook as its signup service. That describes a testing process; it is not evidence of an active invitation window today. We no longer present “request access” as the main route to the released game or show an evergreen countdown.

If a future test is announced, use its own official dates, eligibility conditions and account instructions. Do not pay unofficial sellers for guaranteed invites.

Does an old test balance carry over?

The FAQ’s specific answer concerns cash from early pre-alpha playtests: it does not carry to the full game. The wording does not define every beta, every progression category or a permanent seasonal wipe schedule. Playtest progress preserves that distinction.
