WARDOGS Anti-Cheat, Secure Boot and TPM

What changed since the earlier guide

The August edition named Easy Anti-Cheat. The current Steam listing names Elytra instead. The September 7 enforcement policy also replaces an absence of confirmation with an explicit answer: neither Secure Boot nor TPM is currently required. These are separate facts from whether Linux works.

What the policy covers

BULKHEAD applies its security policy to official and community servers. It describes client and server detection, device and game integrity checks, and player reporting. An anti-cheat name does not establish its complete technical implementation, privacy behavior or compatibility with another operating system.

If requirements change, BULKHEAD says it will announce them before they take effect and the game will indicate what needs changing. Read the current policy linked below instead of following instructions intended for a different game.

An anti-cheat error is not a BIOS diagnosis

Record the entire message and the game version first. Install current Steam updates and use Steam’s built-in installed-file verification. If the same error returns, follow a current developer support instruction for that exact message.

Do not disable protection, alter the game executable, use bypass tools or download unofficial “repair” packages. This guide does not provide firmware procedures. A missing TPM or disabled Secure Boot is not, under the current published policy, a sufficient explanation for a failed connection.

Bans and disconnections need different checks

The official policy distinguishes a community-server administrator’s ban from a game-wide enforcement action. A local server ban must be discussed with that server’s operators. BULKHEAD enforcement can apply across online play. A generic disconnect alone does not prove either kind of ban: the launch hotfix also addressed unexpected kicks.
